If Int2IP is called with a single long integer input argument, the long integer is assumed to be in the range of -2^31~2^31.
If Int2IP is called with 2 long integer inputs, the first is assumed to be in the range of -2^31~2^31 and the second is in the range of -2^31~2^31,
and the second input is multiplied by 2^32. 

If Int2IP is called with 3 long integer inputs, the first is assumed to be in the range of -2^31~2^31, the second is in the range of -2^31~2^31, and the third is in the range of -2^31~2^31, and the third input is multiplied by 2^32.

Int2IP provides simple IP address conversion. It can be used to convert a 32 bit integer address value into a dotted string format. The algorithm behind the work of Int2IP is shown in the diagram below. The diagram is made up of 3 parts. The top part is where the supplied 32-bit address value is converted into a dotted string. The second part of the algorithm is used to detect if the address value has been formatted correctly as an IP address. If it has, then the address is converted into its proper data type for processing and then converted to a dotted string.

The third part of the algorithm is used to display the dotted string on the console.

Int2IP Algorithm:

The following steps are performed in the int2ip function:

1. The supplied 32 bit address value is converted into a dotted string format using a function call to the supplied string conversion function, str2ip.

2. The supplied string is validated to see if the supplied address is valid, which means that it is in the IP address format of 4 fields (dotted string).

3. If the address is found to be valid, then it is then converted to a 4-byte internet protocol (IP) address using a function call to the supplied function address to convert internet protocol address.

4. The converted internet protocol address is then converted into a dotted string using a function call to the supplied string conversion function, str2ip.

5. The converted dotted string is outputted on the console.

NOTE:

The algorithm shown above is not entirely accurate since other IP addresses can exist, such as IP addresses that do not have the 4 fields of a dotted string.

The user interface for Int2IP is shown in the below figure.

If the supplied address is invalid, or it is not in the proper format, then a message box is shown on the screen.
